As the years go by, one of the best things that can be said about us is...that
our victories and successes haven't changed us. You and I should remain humble
and grateful before the Lord.
We see this kind of
humility in David after he defeated Goliath and experienced many other
successes. He was still a man of the people.
When Saul offered

who he was and where he came from in spite of having become the most famous

Today to many people are fixated on what they deserve. Well, each
of us should be eternally grateful that we haven't gotten what we deserved!
Loved ones, we deserved death, but God gave us eternal life! That should fill
our hearts with gratitude and great joy, but there's more. As we give Him
glory, God causes us to move from victory to victory!
As victories come,
let's hold these words in our hearts, "Not unto us, O LORD, not unto
us, but unto your name give glory…" (Psalm 115:1).
